Tobi Cogswell
Tobi Cogswell writes poetry because she has to. She has words rumbling around in her head and when they come out, they are poems. Unlike the proverbial “aspirin between the knees,” she does not want to be closed up and inaccessible. Writing poetry feels good, and she wants to do it more and more. Yes, it is very satisfying when her poems find an editor, and an audience, but truly, even without that, the poems would grow. She is a terrible gardener but does nurture her poems. Tobi has been published both nationally and internationally. Her latest chapbook is “Surface Effects in Winter Wind”, (Kindred Spirit Press). She is the co-editor of San Pedro River Review (www.sprreview.com). Her e-mail address: Tobi Cogswell
