Peter Morris was born and raised in northern Wisconsin. Married thirty-nine years with two children, a daughter and a son. His career was approximately thirty-seven years in the financial services industry. Now retired and active in not-for-profit volunteering, travel, and the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.

Peter's been interested in photography since childhood and was active during high school through the school newspaper and yearbook. Did own developing and printing in nearby college darkroom. Interest waned during career and parenting years until retirement and the rapid evolution of digital photography.

What is constant in his photography efforts is his attempt to capture essence in his people photos and an aspect of wow in his nature photographs.
